Jacked and Optical Illusion N use Buffalo features.

Optical Illusion N ($5.80) took full advantage of the inside post to wire the field in the $14,000 co-featured Open Pace. He held off a hard-charging Lip Reader A by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:56.2.

With the scratch of Discus Hanover reducing the Open Trot field to seven, the number of contenders reduced immediately after the starting gate opened

The field was now reduced to a tight group of four, with Jacked (Joseph Chindano Jr.) sprinting ahead to seize the lead. With fractions of 29.2, 59.0, and 1:28.3 on the board, Jacked was ready for the long run.

Power And Grace (Drew Monti), winner of last week's Open Trot, made a moderate challenge on the outside, but Jacked was far too powerful

Running Mass (David McNeight III) moved up to third after Seven Credits was penalised for a lapped on break.

After breaking in last week's Open Pace and losing all hope, Optical Illusion N (James McNeight Jr.) recovered well and held off the field to win by a good length over Lip Reader A (Drew Monti).

Optical Illusion N scored from the inside and held his position early, setting the tempo with fractions of 30.0, 59.2, and 1:28.0.

Down the lane, Optical Illusion N had plenty of pace and brushed off late challenges from Lip Reader A and Villiam (Chindano Jr.), who finished second and third, respectively.
