Berry Superfood Smoothie Bowl

This situation occurs frequently: I get on a smoothie kick and prepare the same one over and over again. Same time, same location, identical smoothie.

Tell me, does this happen to you as well? This berry-spinach smoothie bowl recipe is my recent obsession.

It tastes fantastic. Instead of banana, I add a spoonful of almond butter for creaminess (and some protein).

As a result, it has a tinge of PB&J flavor; it's quite delicious and husband-approved. As a result, I'm confident it would also be acceptable to children.

The ingredients are easy to keep on hand. Because frozen berries and almond butter provide the creamy, chilly base of this dish, the ingredients can be kept on hand without spoiling.

It is loaded with antioxidants and other nutrients! Although its flavor is subtle, spinach boosts the antioxidant content of this already nutritious breakfast.

If you top it with hemp seeds or walnuts, you'll get a healthy dose of omega-3s. This might be eaten as a nutritious breakfast, but we also enjoy it as dessert.

My superfood smoothie bowl toppings include coconut flakes, hemp seeds, entire blueberries, and crushed freeze dried strawberries. Freeze dried strawberries are a new ingredient for me, but wow, I'm obsessed.
